Overview
The Bishop area of California's Eastern Sierra is a premier fishing destination known for its excellent trout fishing. Anglers can fish for rainbow, brown, brook, and golden trout in the region's cold, clear creeks and alpine lakes.
Popular fishing spots include the scenic Bishop Creek Canyon, the Owens River, and lakes like Lake Sabrina, North Lake, Intake II and Pleasant Valley Reservoir. Fish from shore, boats, float tubes, or by fly fishing. A valid California fishing license is required.
