What is the purpose of Mammoth Classifieds?
Our goal is to create centralized location for all things local in the Eastern Sierra. Social Media is great, but we find that posts get lost in separate groups, and buried by other posts.
Why was Mammoth Classifieds Created?
When moving to Mammoth Lakes, ourselves and many others find it hard to connect with the best in the Eastern Sierra. From the Best Contractors, to the Best Homes for Rent, Events, and much more.
We’re hoping to help people find local information about the best in the Eastern Sierra, through Google and our own Marketing Channels.
How is Mammoth Classifieds better than Social Media?

Free listings will still be displayed throughout the site, but not typically in any Featured, Promotional, or Sponsored areas as these are reserved for specific listings.

What is a "Featured Listing?"
A Featured Listing is a Listing we feel is worth Featuring. Majority of the time these will be unpaid-for Featured listings, other times we will be charging for select Featured Listings.

What do I get with a "Featured Listing?"
Featured Listings can become featured everywhere. From the homepage of the website, to the city page of where the listing lives, to promotion across all social media channels. We use our discretion for where “featured listings” should live, but are always open to suggestions.
How can I "feature" my business on Mammoth Classifieds?
Simply create your listing, and select “Promote” from within your dashboard, fill out the appropriate information, pay, and we’ll send you a notice once the Featured Listing has been approved.
What is a "Promoted Listing?"
A Promoted Listing, is a listing which is paid for, and will be given extra priority to be at the forefront of the listing category and location.
What do I get with a "Promoted Listing?"
Depending on your promotional time, and budget, and category, you can expect to be front and center for your category, across the Eastern Sierra, or a mix.
How Can I Become a "Promoted Listing?"
Simply Create a Listing and select “Promote Listing” within your user dashboard. From your dashboard you will have options to edit, remove, and upgrade your listings as needed
What is a "Sponsored Ad?"
A Sponsored Ad, is a custom Ad placed throughout the site, on every category page, regardless of category or location.
What do I get with a "Sponsored ad?"
Please speak with your sales associate to determine where your sponsored ad will be located. Placement depends on niche, budget, and duration.
How can I become a "Sponsored Ad?"
Contact us with your business information, and one of our representatives will reach out.

How can I "Claim a Listing?"
Simply hit the “Claim Listing” button on the listing itself, or send us an email with the listing link.
We’ll need a form of proof to become verified (any of these will do)

How can I report a problem with a listing?
If you encounter an issue with a listing, click ‘Report’ and our support team will investigate the matter.
What are the Perks of becoming "Verified?"
When you are verified, users can trust that not just anyone is promoting an event, selling something, renting a home, or even hiring.
There are many good reasons to become verified.

Featured listings can be free, but we save those for the best of the Eastern Sierra, others can be paid for.

Should you decide to cancel any of our services and seek a refund, we kindly ask you to adhere to the following steps within 24 hours of making your payment:
