Please consider coming to the beautiful Eastern Sierra in October 2023, to experience the majesty of the fall color and the astonishing landscape of the area. This will be my 27th year conducting my workshop in this location and after years of experience, I know where to go. We’ll visit some of the well-known, iconic places, as well as many places off the beaten path. I will be co-leading this workshop with John Pedersen who is also highly knowledgeable of the area and how to extract the most from it photographically.
If I had one place to photograph it would be here. We’ll see Mono Lake, the White Mountains, and the town of Bodie, once a booming mining town that went bust. Today it’s a genuine ghost town that’s in very good shape and offers endless photographic possibilities.
We’ll see the oldest living species on the planet—the Ancient Bristlecone Pines, beautiful mountain streams and aspen groves, sure to be in full grandeur when we arrive. This time of the year is the prime time for fall color.
We will meet at 6 pm on October 8th for an hour or so to go over itineraries and workshop goals. The workshop will end at noon on October 12th in Lee Vining, California.
All of our workshops will be attended by owners of the Fujifilm “X” System cameras and lenses. The workshops are not, however, dedicated to only Fujifilm “X” camera shooters. All are encouraged to attend!
