Distant Brewing

Originally from the west coast land of beers (San Diego), owner and brewer Drew Wallace has been a resident of Mammoth Lakes for over 20 years. With eight years of home brewing experience, he decided to open a nano-brewery in town to create one-of-a-kind beers and brews not usually available in the area. The former Black Doubt Brewing Company thrived in a tiny location with a four barrel system for four years before he teamed up with his brother Kirk Wallace to create a brand new brewery experience only one block to the South.

Distant Brewing started construction in November of 2018 and opened to the public for the first time on December 23rd, 2019.  Finally in a space where the brothers could create new and exciting beers, Distant Brewing focuses on bringing an exciting collection of beverages, food and good vibes to the west coast and Eastern Sierras with hopes to become one of the best breweries in Mammoth Lakes!
